The Kano State Government has affirmed six new instances of COVID-19.
The State Ministry of Health affirmed the new cases on its official Twitter page on Friday night.
It stated, “As at 10:56 pm, seventeenth April 2020, @KanostateNg affirms Six (6) extra instances of COVID-19, totalling 27 cases, 1 demise #StayAtHome #StaySafeNigeria, #lockDownKano.”
In the interim, Nigeria on Friday, recorded 51 new instances of the infection.
The figure is the most elevated the nation has had since its first case in March.
Nigeria presently has 493 affirmed cases in the nation.
